Views from an Adult

Anyone who knows the town of Hemet California knows that the dating here is totally terrible. I have lived in this town for four years andthoughI go out and make myselfaccessibleI just cannot find a nice guy. I am young and I work in a hair salon so I don't exactly see a lot of guys at work but the town is so small that we all see each other at some point, yet even to find a date for a movie can become a real mission impossible. None of my friends are really actively dating, and that is because there is no one to date. Once in a blue moon someone will ask but it will only be once or twice and they move on or maybe they just move period.

I guess Hemet is not exactly the most exciting place to live so a lot of guys end up moving pretty out of the area pretty fast. Especially when they find out that though the rents are dirt cheat there are no jobs to pay those rents with. So how a girl my age will find a date, who can then become a boyfriend that could eventually become my husband I don't know. I hate to think I am going to spend the rest of my life sporadically dating men, and never get married. If I lived in a big city it might be another story but living in this tiny town as a single woman all my life is not at all appealing to me, or any other female that I know.

I want to have what my parents have had with each other, they were dating for 2 years got married and 35 years later they still wake up together to the aroma of coffee in their kitchen. They adore each other and now that they are both older they take care of each other and have no need foroutsidehelp. I want to know where my special night in shining armor is, the one that is going to be there when I wake up. Who's going to take care of me when I am a little old lady? At this stage I am going to get too old to even have children, and I really would love to be a mom and do all of those things that my mom got to do with me. In the end I might have to move one day too, if I ever want to find a man.
