My friend had always told me how he had often had met great people using dating sites on the internet. When he used to tell me the stories of how he would go on dates with people he met on these dating sites, I never really took him seriously as I sort of believed dating sites were a bit useless and you would not find anybody cool on dating sites. I had always been one to believe it is better just to meet somebody in real life or maybe even go on a blind date even if a blind date is such a short brief encounter at least you still get to see the person, however on a dating site you just don't really get to know the person for sure. You can only go by what you see on their profile and through a few messages you send to each other.

I felt really bad now that I had never really took him seriously. He was one of those guys who just had a real heart of gold and just wanted to find somebody to love. I could tell that he was just full of love and was not really sure who to give it to and when I realised he was hinting at me that he had found somebody really special to him on a dating site, I just wished I had took him more seriously because I know that he really did like this girl and had a real good connection with her.

I was laid in bed late one night and I just could not sleep. I could not believe that I had not listened to him properly. But now, I had developed really strong feelings for a certain person and I began to understand how he felt because I was feeling the feelings he had too. I finally felt that I was able to comprehend what he had always been trying to explain to me and I just worried that it was too late because now I had to go and explain to him how I knew what he was saying was true.

I actually began to wonder if I was in love. I had never had these feelings for anybody before. I could not believe it. I felt like my heart just could explode with complete happiness and butterflies were constantly in my stomach. It was just great.
