Views from an Adult

I had been dating free for a while now as I had decided to just quit dating as every time I dated a guy it was just a complete failure. I don't know why but all my dates just would go horribly wrong. At first I thought it was the person I was dating that was the problem, but obviously, as it is every single date that I go on goes wrong, the problem must be me. For example; the date will end in an argument, or I will be too nervous and hardly speak, or there is just no connection, and so on. It gets to the stage where it actually is very very annoying and eventually I decided to just give up on dating, and hopefully find a nice guy naturally, by way of means such as seeing them on a bus, meeting them at work, bumping into somebody and so on. Dating was just not for me and I was getting to the stage where I was pleased to say I was dating free.

Dating free was actually easier than I had ever imagined it to be. I always thought I would be lonely or feel lonely, or just feel unwanted or silly, but to tell you the truth, I actually felt reasonably well. I was in control of my own life. I was dating free. I could do whatever I liked with nobody there to tell me what to do.

There was one time however when I was on my way to work when I walked by the most handsome man I had ever seen in my entire twenty years of living. He really was something special. It was like looking at the idol of the man of my dreams, and it was so weird because all my nerves just flew away and I asked him straight out on a date. Okay, not as such, but I gave him my number and he was eager to call and it was not long before we went on a date.

The weird thing was, I just had no nerves at all which was good I suppose, but also a mystery to me. We just had the time of our lives. Talking away and getting to know each other and we began to meet regularly. We even had a few passionate moments. I was so glad I was dating again.
